Lake Siskiyou is a man-made lake. It is privately owned for the most part and has camping, boating, fishing as well as swimming there that draws many to enjoy it. Of course youc an see Mt. Shasta from the lake which is an added plus for scenic beauty.

Before the lake was created, there was a ranch and farm/ranch land in a valley.

On the fourth of July, hundreds of cars are snaking out to the campground and around for their firewords display.
